What does love ask of us? Everything.
Love asks us to speak up where we would be silent because we are afraid. It asks us to be silent where we would fill the stillness with empty words. Love asks us to see the other in their beauty, even when they are angry or confused or behaving badly. Love asks us to cherish ourselves, to care for the body-mind-heart-soul we are as we would for any other we love. Love asks us to BE WITH it all, with our hearts wide open. Even when we cannot be physically with another, love asks us to hold them in our hearts.
What does love offer us? Everything.
When we let love carry us we are always going home together.
